March 31, 2001, Norman, Oklahoma, home of the University of Oklahoma. This was the last year for this run which was part of a series which included the Red Bud Classic in Oklahoma City.
We arrived early, it was very cool and cloudy, but when the race began the temps began to rise. My black shirt was too warm.
The race start near the OU football stadium and ends on the 50 yard line, which was quite exciting, Competition was stiff.
